About FAAP 2027

Welcome to FAAP 2027

The conference FAAP2027 (Future of Agriculture and Advanced Photonics) aims to promote the fusion of science and technology for sustainable food production and will provide a platform for researchers and experts to explore the future of agriculture through advanced photonics and emerging technologies.

FAAP2027 focuses on the advancement and application of optical and photonic technologies in agriculture, as well as their integration with a wide range of scientific and technological fields. The conference will bring together research and development across agriculture, photonics, biotechnology, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and related fields.

In particular, FAAP2027 will promote international exchange on the digitalization and smart utilization of agriculture through optical technologies, AI, data science, robotics, and digital twin technologies, with an emphasis on the digital transformation (DX) of agriculture.

The Main Objectives of FAAP2027 Are:

Highlighting technologies and approaches that improve productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization while addressing environmental challenges and supporting sustainable food production.
Facilitating International Collaboration:
Promoting information exchange, networking, and collaboration among researchers, industry professionals, and experts worldwide to explore emerging technologies and the future of agriculture from a global perspective.

FAAP2027 is held in collaboration with OPIC2027 (Optics & Photonics International Congress 2027).

OPIC is one of the largest conferences in optics and photonics in Japan, bringing together more than 10 specialized conferences, including FAAP2027.
