About FAAP2025

Welcome to FAAP2025

The new conference "FAAP2025 (Future of Agriculture and Advanced Photonics)" which aims at the fusion of science and technology for sustainable food production, will hold a joint session with LSSE2025.

FAAP2025 conference aims to focus on advancements in optical technology in agriculture and its integration with other scientific and technological fields. It will provide a platform to discuss research and development while considering the environment and conditions surrounding agriculture.

Additionally, the conference will promote international information exchange on the digitization and utilization of agriculture through optical technology and digital twin technology, with an emphasis on the digital transformation (DX) of agriculture.

The main objectives of this conference are:

  1. Sharing Advances and Applications of Optical Technology:
    Presenting the latest research findings and practical applications of optical technology in agriculture.
  2. Promoting the Integration of Science and Technology:
    Exploring new agricultural models by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as biotechnology, robotics, IT, and AI.
  3. Advancing Sustainable Agriculture:
    Highlighting sustainable agricultural technologies that enhance productivity while considering environmental impacts.
  4. International Information Exchange:
    Facilitating information exchange and networking among researchers and experts worldwide to explore the future of agriculture from a global perspective.


We look forward to welcoming you to join us as we explore together the future of the Fusion of Science and Technology for Sustainable Food Production.

FAAP2025 is collaborated with OPIC2025 (Optics & Photonics international Congress 2025).

OPIC is the largest conference in OPTICS and PHOTONICS in Japan with more than 10 conferences in addition to FAAP.

You can also participate in OPIC2025 by participating in FAAP2025.

    The presentation will deal with actual situation in technology progress for laser material preparation for HELS. The technical/technological problems of ECM preparation as well as design of large area laser elements will be described and discussed, too. Athermal laser principle may stimulate R&D of ECM preparation technologies.

    The search of a new types of a glass/ceramics/crystal materials prepared by laser melting may be a possible path for succesfull 3D laser element printing.
